Having a play...

Having bought some new stamps last week at the Ally Pally show from Stampscapes I had a little play with them yesterday and this is the result. I used Stazon Mustard, Pumpkin and Black Cherry ink pads for the background and black Versafine for the stamps and dark edges.

For a first play I am quite pleased with the result.

First Bind-It-All project

I haven't added anything to my Blog for a couple of months mainly because I haven't created anything worth blogging.

Using my lovely Bind-It-All I made this book for my friend and work colleague to thank her for all the friendship and support she has given me over the past 20 years. A simple 'thank you' card just didn't seem to suffice, so I created this book. The main technique I used was stamping, and each page represents a theme: the journey we have taken, the times we have spent together, friendship, the fun and laughter we have shared, the changes we have seen and the future (which is very uncertain for me at the moment work-wise).

I think she liked it!

Thank you Caroline.

Teddy Bear Fat Book pages

I was very behind with my Teddy Bear Fat Book pages and had run out of inspiration. Then my friend Linda from the Craft Swap Forum designed this lovely teddy stamp (available here) and in a rush I managed to make all 7 of the pages I had left to do.

Unfortunately the scans don't really do these pages justice, but I thought I would just show a taster of what they look like here.
